I just found a huge collection of Yiddish music from 1908-1927… I am so satisfied. The recordings are going to be so awful and lovely and scratchy.

And I have a Hebrew test in 12 hours.
And I have 30 pages to read in this text book.
And I am probably going to die.
I am also drunk.

I can’t believe I live here… in this apartment, in this city. So many people would for my position, and I seem to have done is bitch about minor disturbances over the past 6 months. I don’t take advantage of my position; I have not been thankful for it at all: I should, and I should be.
I have so much to be happy for.

GUESS WHERE I'M GOING FOR SPRING BREAK
WARSAW
I’m going to stay in a hostel with like 9 other people for a week. Lodgings will only cost me $100… so I only need about $1000 to go. The flight will cost about $700, so I’ll be left with $200 for food and whatever else. I’m basically going to be poverty stricken the whole time but I am so thoroughly excited.
Aunt and uncle are gone til Wednesday night.
And I have free reign of the apartment.
I don’t think there’s anything I hate more than when someone tells me I look like someone.
Because I don’t.

I’m happy I deleted my old tumblr. It feels great to start over new instead of unfollowing a whole bunch of people who quite honestly were just clogging my dash with senselessness… no personal offense to them… but anyway, I’m going to use this as an outlet for my thoughts and interests instead of a stream of b.s. from now on.

Lenses of Recognition
Within the soul of every human lay a lens of recognition. The question is, what lens of recognition dwells within the soul of each individual? Everyone has their own lens which is designation for and within their soul. Upon opening the soul— even if only the size of a pupil, which absorbs every bit of light there is to be found— it is both revealed to its designated lens and has its...
